
Orientation Programme “AGAAZ 2024”
The Anangpuria School of Management & Technology organized an orientation programme, “AGAAZ 2024,” on 23 August 2024 for newly admitted B.Tech and BCA Data Science students. The session aimed to familiarize students with the institute’s policies, environment, and academic culture.
The programme was graced by Chief Guest Prof. (Dr.) Dharmendra Kumar, Dean, Faculty of Science and Technology, Gurugram University, along with Guests of Honour Mr. Pankaj Thakur, Program & Project Manager, Accenture, and Mr. Kapil Lohia, Director – Pre-Sales, Rakuten Symphony. The event began with Saraswati Vandana, followed by the presentation of saplings to the guests as a gesture of welcome.
Director General Prof. (Dr.) Roop Krishan Khar addressed the students, encouraging them and assuring full support in shaping their careers. The day concluded with cultural performances and sports activities, making it a memorable start to the students’ academic journey.

Anti Ragging Report (2024)
On August 14, 2024, the Anangpuria School of Management and Technology hosted the Ant-Ragging Day event. The day’s festivities were designed to inform senior students about the harmful effects of ragging, helping them to realize that it’s not always harmless fun and that it can, in extreme circumstances, result in major mental health problems, dropout rates, and even suicide. In order to prevent and eradicate ragging on campus, the celebration was held to raise awareness among students about the dangers of ragging, the social risks involved, and the legal ramifications of ragging among senior and junior students. “Say No To Ragging” was the theme of various activities and competitions held as part of the Anti-Ragging competitions. As the slogan, Essay writing, poster making and Logo designing on Anti Ragging theme were conducted.
The Certificate of Merit and Certificate of Participation were distributed to the winners and all the participants respectively.

Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (2024)
Students and staff of Anangpuria School of Management & Technology took the vow as our nation commemorated “Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan” on August 12, 2024, during the “Nashe se Azadi National Youth and Students Interaction Program.” As part of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan Campaign (NMBA)/Drug Free India campaign against substance misuse, students from Anangpuria School of Management & Technology pledged to abstain from narcotics and work towards making India drug-free. The ceremony’s main objective was to increase collaboration and action in the direction of a sustainable, drug-free future. All the Students pledged to abstain from drugs and work toward making India a drug-free nation on this special day.

The objective of this talk was to familiarize students with the Agile methodology, focusing on the Scrum framework, its practical applications, and the career opportunities it offers in the IT sector. The session was conducted by Mr. Trilok Rawat, an experienced Senior Test Analyst at Fidelity Information Services, who shared his expertise with the students, providing valuable insights into Agile practices.
The session concluded with a focus on the career prospects in Agile and Scrum. Mr. Rawat shared tips on how students could align their skills with industry requirements, emphasizing the demand for professionals with Agile and Scrum knowledge in the rapidly evolving IT industry. He encouraged students to explore certifications in Agile and Scrum as a pathway to enhancing their career prospects.

Industrial Visit MAAC (2024)
On September 3rd, 2024, the students of Anangpuria School of Management and Technology’s had the privilege of visiting the MAAC (Maya Academy of Advanced Cinematics) Institute. This industrial visit aimed to give students a firsthand experience of the animation and VFX industry, broaden their understanding of industry demands, and inspire them with a glimpse into the creative and technical environment where animation and visual effects are brought to life.
The primary objective of this visit was to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and industry practices. By visiting MAAC, students were exposed to the latest tools, techniques, and software used in 3D animation and visual effects. This experience also aimed to provide insight into career opportunities and the current industry demands for skilled professionals.
