Sports Event 2026 – Volleyball Tournament

The Volleyball Tournament 2026 was successfully organized at ASMT Campus on 27th and 28th January 2026. The event aimed to promote physical fitness, encourage student participation in sports activities, and strengthen team spirit among students from various departments. A total of nine teams, including both boys’ and girls’ teams, participated enthusiastically in the two-day event.

The tournament was organized by the Sports Committee in coordination with the Student Sports Council, the Physical Education Department, and dedicated student volunteers. Careful planning and coordination ensured smooth conduct of matches, proper discipline, and a fair competitive environment throughout the event.

Separate matches were conducted for boys and girls, ensuring equal participation and opportunity. The competition was intense yet friendly, with students displaying excellent sportsmanship, teamwork, leadership, and communication skills. The atmosphere on campus remained energetic and engaging, fostering unity and inclusivity among participants.

The volleyball tournament concluded successfully and was appreciated by students and faculty alike. It reinforced the importance of sports in overall personality development and is expected to continue as an annual tradition with further improvements in organization and participation.

Industrial Visit to APPSquadz Software Pvt. Ltd.

The Department organized an industrial visit to APPSquadz Software Pvt. Ltd. on 5th and 6th February 2026 for B.Tech (CSE/IT) 6th Semester students. A total of 90 students participated in the visit, which was arranged to provide practical exposure to industry operations and align academic knowledge with market requirements. The visit also supported institutional quality initiatives related to experiential learning and employability enhancement.

During the visit, students were welcomed by company representatives and introduced to the organization’s structure, services, and growth journey. The company presentation highlighted its expertise in application development, cloud solutions, enterprise services, UI/UX design, and digital transformation for both national and international clients. Technical sessions conducted by domain experts provided detailed insights into software development life cycles, project management practices, and current technology stacks used in live projects.

Students were given the opportunity to observe workflow practices and interact with the Human Resources team to understand recruitment processes, required competencies, internship opportunities, and career pathways in the software industry. The interaction session helped students gain clarity regarding resume preparation, interview expectations, workplace ethics, and the importance of continuous skill development.

The visit significantly improved students’ understanding of corporate culture, teamwork, and professional communication. It strengthened the institution’s relationship with the company for future internships and placement collaborations, while also motivating students to enhance their technical and professional skills

Expert Lecture – Data Analysis Using Python

The Department of CSE, IT, and BCA at ASMT Campus organized an expert lecture on Data Analysis Using Python on 12 January 2026. The session was conducted in association with Thinknyx Technologies, aiming to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry expectations in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science.

The primary objective of the session was to provide students with exposure to real-world applications of Artificial Intelligence, showcase breakthrough technologies, and discuss emerging industry trends and challenges. The lecture was delivered by Mr. Kanishk Kumar, Senior Developer, and Ms. Kulbhushan Mayer, Lead Developer at Thinknyx Technologies. Both speakers shared practical insights into data analysis, the role of Python in AI-driven solutions, and the skills required to thrive in the evolving technology landscape. The interactive nature of the lecture allowed students to clarify doubts and gain a clearer understanding of current industry practices.

The session proved to be highly informative and beneficial, enhancing students’ technical knowledge while motivating them to pursue advanced learning and career opportunities in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science.

Diwali Celebrations 2025

Anangpuria School of Management & Technology celebrated the vibrant and auspicious festival of Diwali with great enthusiasm and zeal. The event was organized to foster a sense of togetherness and cultural appreciation among students, faculty, and staff. The campus was adorned with colorful decorations, lights, and rangoli, creating a festive and joyous ambiance.

1. Rangoli Competition & Mehndi Competition:
   A rangoli-making and mehndi competition was held, where students showcased their creativity with intricate and colorful and beautiful designs.
2. Diya Decoration & Craft Stalls:
   The event featured diya (lamp) decoration and craft stalls, encouraging students to express their artistic talents.
3. Food Stalls:
   Delicious traditional snacks and sweets were served at food stalls, providing a taste of the festive spirit.
4. Games & Activities:
   Fun games and activities, including quizzes on Diwali traditions and a lucky draw, were conducted, making the event engaging and enjoyable.

The Diwali Fest at Anangpuria School of Management & Technology was a grand success, bringing together the entire college community in celebration. The event not only celebrated the cultural essence of Diwali but also reinforced values of unity, creativity, and environmental responsibility.

Guest Lecture on Blockchain Technology

The guest lecture held on 16 September 2025 describing Blockchain Technology focused on introducing students to one of the most transformative technologies shaping modern industries. The session highlighted the role of blockchain in finance, healthcare, supply chain management, and digital transformation.

The lecture was delivered by industry experts from Chetu Inc., Noida, who shared practical insights, real-world use cases, and career guidance related to blockchain technologies. Students from CSE and IT (5th and 7th Semester) actively participated and engaged in interactive discussions.

The session was highly interactive and well-received by both students and faculty. Participants gained valuable knowledge and expressed enthusiasm for more such expert-led events in the future.
