Visit to Mother Dairy – An Enriching Industrial Experience

The students of B. Pharmacy from Anangpuria School of Pharmaceutical Sciences recently undertook an educational visit to Mother Dairy, one of India’s leading dairy brands, as part of their industrial exposure program. The visit aimed to bridge the gap between academic learning and practical implementation in the food and pharmaceutical industries.

During the visit, students were introduced to the various stages of milk processing, including pasteurization, homogenization, packaging, and quality control measures. The technical team at Mother Dairy provided valuable insights into hygiene standards, cold chain management, and the role of quality assurance in ensuring consumer safety. Students also learned about the importance of microbiological testing, preservation techniques, and the use of additives in dairy products.

This hands-on learning experience helped students understand the application of pharmaceutical principles in the food industry, especially in areas like Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), quality testing, and regulatory compliance. The visit concluded with an interactive Q&A session, where students enthusiastically participated and gained clarity on various aspects of large-scale production and quality maintenance.
