Plantation Drive (29.07.225)
On 29th July 2025, Anangpuria School of Pharmaceutical Sciences (ASPS) organized a Plantation Drive within the campus to promote the message of environmental protection and sustainable living. The event was marked by active participation of students, faculty members, and staff, who together planted a variety of saplings ranging from shade-giving trees to medicinal and ornamental plants. With every sapling planted, students pledged to take responsibility for nurturing and protecting it, symbolizing their commitment to building a greener and healthier future. The drive not only enhanced the natural beauty of the campus but also served as a practical reminder of the urgent need to combat climate change, preserve biodiversity, and maintain ecological balance. Such initiatives at ASPS reflect the institute’s dedication to instilling social and environmental responsibility among budding pharmacists, encouraging them to contribute positively to society beyond academics. Faculty Development Programme (FDP) from 4th August to 8th August 2025 heme “Enhancing Teaching Excellence and Holistic Wellbeing for Sustainable Academic Growth”
Anangpuria Group of Institutions successfully organized a five-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) from 4th August to 8th August 2025 on the theme “Enhancing Teaching Excellence and Holistic Wellbeing for Sustainable Academic Growth”. The FDP aimed at fostering continuous learning and sharing among faculty members while enhancing teaching competencies, encouraging curriculum innovation, and integrating research with pedagogy. The sessions were designed to promote outcome-based education, professional growth, holistic wellness, and collaborative teaching practices in line with accreditation and quality assurance frameworks.
The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from the faculty members of Anangpuria School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Anangpuria Law School, Anangpuria School of Management & Technology, and Anangpuria School of Engineering & Technology. The inaugural session was conducted by Mr. Narender Ahooja who emphasized the qualities of a good teacher as described in Rigveda, effective classroom management, and innovative teaching strategies. On the second day, Dr. B.P. Shrinivasan guided participants on the essential steps of writing high-quality research papers, highlighting the importance of structured academic writing, referencing, and ethical publication practices.
The third day featured Ms. Sheetal Chhabra, who focused on yoga, meditation, and holistic wellbeing as tools to manage stress, maintain balance, and promote overall health among educators. On the fourth day, Prof. Dharminder Kumar delivered an insightful session on Outcome Based Education (OBE), discussing curriculum design, mapping of COs, POs, and PSOs, and aligning teaching methods with Bloom’s Taxonomy for better learning outcomes.
On the final day, Prof. Khar provided a detailed summary of all the sessions and consolidated the key learnings. Faculty members filled in the feedback performa and were also given a question paper to answer, helping them recall and reflect on the concepts learnt during the FDP. The programme concluded with the distribution of certificates by Prof. Khar and Dr. Deepika Yadav, Vice Principal, ASPS, appreciating the active participation of all faculty members.
This FDP proved to be a meaningful initiative in empowering educators with modern teaching practices, research insights, and wellness techniques, thereby enriching their professional journey and contributing towards the overall academic excellence of the institution.

The visit aimed to bridge the gap between academic learning and practical exposure by providing students with firsthand insights into hospital operations and healthcare practices. One of the key highlights of the visit was the detailed interaction with the hospital pharmacists, who demonstrated how the hospital pharmacy functions as a vital link in the healthcare delivery chain. The students learned about drug procurement, storage practices, prescription interpretation, patient counselling, inventory management, and the dispensing of medications under strict guidelines.
