Anangpuria School of Pharmaceutical Sciences organized an insightful industrial visit to Sceptre, Sonipat for the students of B. Pharmacy 3rd and 7th Semester as part of their academic enrichment and professional development. The visit aimed to provide students with real-time exposure to pharmaceutical manufacturing practices and industry operations, bridging the gap between classroom learning and practical application in the field.
At Sceptre, a well-established pharmaceutical manufacturing company known for its high-quality formulations and advanced production techniques, students were warmly welcomed by the company’s technical team. The visit began with a comprehensive presentation highlighting the company’s background, product portfolio, quality assurance systems, and regulatory compliance protocols. Students gained valuable insights into Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), quality control procedures, packaging and labeling standards, and the overall workflow of pharmaceutical production.
During the facility tour, students were taken through various departments including Formulation, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Warehousing, and Packaging Units. The guided walkthrough allowed them to observe the machinery, automation processes, safety measures, and hygiene standards maintained in the plant. They also interacted with industry professionals who answered their queries and shared practical insights into the challenges and innovations in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
The visit was a crucial step toward enhancing industry readiness among the students, helping them understand the importance of precision, regulatory adherence, and continuous improvement in the pharma sector.
