OVERVIEW

The M. Tech program in Computer Science is a master’s course that is offered to the students with an appeal to learn new and advanced concepts in any area of computer science. The Program finds the basic of the course through the strong and excelled concepts about the computer of the applicant.

The course is a 4-semester program in which 3 semesters of the students are allocated for the course work of students. The final semester is completely dedicated to the thesis work of the students to give students a detailed knowledge about the respective domain and get from students the superior quality of research output.

The vision of the course is to give the world the best research scholars that can give strong conclusions about their research domains.  

 

CS Lab-3

The Technical post graduates scholars with Computer Science and Engineering specialization will be able to:

  • Apply the advanced knowledge of computer science engineering with the expertise in Mathematical concepts, Soft computing, Neural Networks, Wireless Computing and Advanced database Management Systems.
  • Develop Research Skills in Computer Science & Engineering by writing research papers in various journals and conferences of national and international repute.
  • Articulate the design underpinnings of Computer network systems and research findings to train professionals or to educate engineering students.
  • In minor project and Dissertation during the course, they contribute effectively as a team member/leader, using common tools and environment.

  • The students will be able to design and conduct experiments that will help them to analyze and interpret data used in real world.
  • Research in different domains will make them aware of the issues faced in current research scenario.
  • The students will be able to design software systems, components, and processes that will meet the needs for various economic, environmental and social constraints.
  • The course will help them to fill the research gaps and bring into the consideration of researchers the new research zone that could be looked upon and worked on.
  • The knowledge of the students will be shared with the world through seminars and publications in different national and international conferences and journals.

A Candidate must hold Bachelor’s degree of four-year duration in the relevant discipline as mentioned above with 50% (47.50% in the case of SC/ST candidates) marks in aggregate along with valid GATE score or equivalent grade from a recognized University or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto by Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak or as may be amended by the competent authority.

“RESEARCH” is a word that makes a systematic investigation for the study of different computer components and architecture to get some facts and reach a new conclusion.To make the students aware about the different research domains that could be looked for investigation by using certain computer language knowledge. Thus, the students are made to go through some lab wok to decide their domain of research for their thesis.

Object Oriented Programming Lab(OOP lab)

Object-Oriented Programming is a programming paradigm that combines data and instructions for processing the data into an object that can be used within the program. Object-oriented programming provides the concepts that help to model complicated systems of the real world into manageable software solutions. In this lab, students will learn the basic concepts of OOP with C++ language such as Inheritance, constructors, templates etc.

Internet Lab (IWT Lab)

This lab deals with the working of web applications where students will get a thorough knowledge of web designing and development. It includes working with HTML, CSS, and JAVA.

Operating System Lab(OS Lab)

OS being the heart of computers and it includes the basic of how the computers are made alive. It also includes the UNIX concepts for making the students aware of how operating systems are used for various applications.

Project Lab

Students are given a flavor of the thesis in the form of mini projects that they will work by choosing the topic of their own choice. This lab helps the students to get clarity about the domain of their research in which they will conclude some new facts depending on the available data.

Soft Computing Lab (SC Lab)

The lab familiarizes the students about the MATLAB software and its user interface used for carrying out various numerical, computation and analysis. The lab deals with exploring more advanced features of MATLAB in a unified and logical manner.

Artificial Intelligence Lab(AI Lab)

Artificial Intelligence is a wide branch of Computer Science that deals with how the intelligence could be incorporated in the machines. The labs include the conceptualization for game playing, common sense reasoning, robotics etc.

As a holistically run organization, the B.S.A.E.I. support its faculty in maintaining their edge. The Management is always enthusiastic to encourage, extend financial help and support the faculty of the department, who are interested in adding to their qualifications along with their teaching assignments.
