Here, in management program students are offered dual specialization. We are offering four different specializations to students and as per curriculum the students of MBA are required to choose any of the two following specializations in 3rd semester:



Apart from the university curriculum, this professional course emphasizes on nurturing the soft skills, effective communication, creativity, team-work, decision-making, corporate etiquettes etc. among the students by conducting the following activities:

  • Group discussion and presentations are scheduled within timetable. In these scheduled classes students are regularly motivated towards how to present themselves during a group discussion and how to present in front of the audience. Students are also given tips to improve their communications skills as well.
  • Mock interview for students are also conducted on regular basis to make them confident and familiar with the corporate environment.
  • Seminars are conducted regularly by industrial experts as well as by senior academicians.

As today is an age of computers, a candidate with an MCA degree will have great job opportunities in top level IT companies and consultancy firms. They will have opportunities in large corporations having an in-house systems department. An MCA graduate can work for any IT company big or small as a system developer and various other roles.

Thus after successful completion of MCA, the candidates will be able to get jobs in different industries like software engineering and development, hardware and networking, research and development, services and application support, etc.

MCA students specialize in various fields during their 3-year course. After completing MCA, there are surpluses of opportunities which are as under:

Mechanical Engineering (M.E.)

Mechanical Engineering is a conventional branch of Engineering as it is involved in the design, study, development and construction of nearly all of the physical devices and systems. Mechanical Engineers are widely employed in almost every sector of the industry. Realizing its importance in the growth of the nation, the institute has set up a separate department to produce the industry level competent Mechanical Engineers.

Highly qualified faculty and well equipped laboratories and workshops form an additional feature of the department. Industrial visits are also organized for our students to synthesize the theoretical knowledge with practical industrial working and to get them real experience of world of work.

This is a matter of great pride for the department that our passed out students have been recruited in several premier national and multinational organizations in addition to Government sectors.

The Graduates in Mechanical Engineering develop exceptional technical talent / job opportunities in the Engineering domains in Govt. sectors through Civil Services, Provincial Services, PSU’s and other Public and Corporate Sectors. Computer Science and Engineering(C.S.E)

Different Roles

    Software Developers:
  • Software developers are professionals who are concerned with facets of the software development process which involves activities such as design and coding, computer programming, project management, etc.
  • Hardware Engineers:
  • These professionals do research, design, develop, test, and oversee the installation of computer hardware which inter alia includes computer chips, circuit boards, systems, modems, keyboards, and printers.
  • System Designer:
  • Professionals involved in system designing, Logical & Physical Designing wherein logical designing can be enumerated as the structure & characteristics such as output, input, files, database & procedures, etc.
  • System Analyst:
  • Computer engineers who work as systems analyst do research about the existing problems and plan solutions for the problem. They also recommend software and system related problems and coordinate development between business development teams.
  • Networking Engineers:
  • Networking engineers are computer professionals involved in designing, implementation, and troubleshooting of computer networks.
  • DBA :
  • DBA or Database Administrators are the professionals who are bestowed with the job to design, implement, maintain, and repair an organization's database. Inter alia DBA professionals are also known as Database Coordinator or Database Programmer in IT sector.

Electronics and communication engg. branch provide career opportunities for the students in various core electronics companies such as Samsung, LG , Panasonic, Snopsys, ST Microelectronics, Cadence. It also includes the top telecommunication companies such as Airtel, Vodafone, BSNL, Aircel, Idea, Tata etc. and PSU’s like BHEL, GAIL, SAIL, NTPC, NHPC, ISRO, IOCL, Indian railways etc.

The Department, endeavors to provide state of the art education and lays great emphasis on the all round development of the students. For this, multi level guidance and counseling is followed – at faculty level, at class counselor level and finally at the HOD level. The students are encouraged and helped to do self study and improve learning through referral of books in the library, use of the internet and through other resource material. The all round development of the students is facilitated though seminars, group discussions and co-curricular activities that lead to the development of social, moral and ethical values and leadership qualities in them. In addition, value added courses (which are not part of the university syllabus), such as personality development and public speaking are also conducted for the student.

To inculcate practical skills along with theoretical knowledge, the deportment has state of the art laboratories equipped with the latest equipment and kits. Information Technology(IT)

Information Technology (IT) :is an engineering division, which concentrates on the study of utilizing computers and telecommunications in order to control, gather, store and circulate information. Both software and hardware sectors are parts of Information Technology. This is such a wide field and there are many positions and opportunities that students may opt after their course.

Job Titles:

Software programmer:

This job profile involves writing computer programs in some programming language like c#,,, PHP. The various platforms available are the desktop, the web or the mobile. Based on the platform, students can choose the programming language. They can also decide which platforms they want to target and based on that get extra certification or projects to enhance your employment chances.

Software Testing:

Software Testing is the other vital aspect of creating and delivering software. A software programmer would develop software and the task of a software Test engineer is to ensure that the software satisfies the quality criteria laid by the organization.

Database Administrator(DBA):

Various large application requires , to store and retrieve data. These data are stored in Databases (DBMS). There is a vast need to manage these databases. The major role here is to create users, backup data, optimize the database for performance, etc. The major option of specialization is Oracle, SQL server, DB2 etc. Various certifications are possible and provided by the vendors of these products.

Software sales:

Many students are not aware about the opportunities available in the software sales department. The software created has to be marketed and sold. Selling of software requires the correct understanding of the domain, the product. Understanding user requirements and approaching right customers. This requires understanding of the software systems. Hence Engineers have good potential in this field too.

Application Engineers:

After the software is sold to the customer, adequate training is required by the customer so that he uses the software efficiently, and is a loyal and happy customer. This role is played by the application Engineer.

Software support:

There would be times where the software does not work as expected or there are some issues at the customer side, this is the time where software support professionals jump in to provide help to the customers. They solve technical queries related to products and process related to the system so that customers do not face any major issues if there is something goes wrong.

is a new age degree course in the field of computer applications. The duration of the course is three years. After completion of the BCA course, students can opt for MCA or they can even try for job opportunities in various areas.

As far as government sector is concerned the BCA graduates can enter Sarba Siksha Ahijan, which is a flagship program of Government of India as a teacher. Apart from these, many government information technology companies and government companies like BHEL, NSDL, MTNL and BSNL are hiring BCA graduates. They may apply for job in Indian army or defense sector, Indian railways, banks etc.

Private Sector:

The BCA graduates can have a variety of jobs in private sector. Several reputed companies like Microsoft, Hindalco, Larson and Turbo, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, etc… are recruiting BCA graduates.
